Coffee for runs, cycling events and community days in Dubai

Finish-line coffee is one of the first things participants remember, and the volunteers who were up before everyone else deserve a hot drink too. This page is for organisers of runs, cycling events, community days and school fairs in Dubai. It shows when a barista cart or a self-serve station fits, what each costs from our published rates, and what we ask about early starts. Route, venue and event permissions stay with the organiser; we ask what is in place so the quote reflects it.

Quick answers

What does coffee for a community event cost?
A half-day coffee cart with one barista is from AED 3,000 for up to about 100 guests, ex 5% VAT. A self-serve karak station starts at AED 40 a flask or AED 250 a 10-cup tray.

Can you do karak for volunteers only?
Yes. Karak flasks (1L, about six cups) are from AED 40 and 10-cup trays from AED 250, delivered hot, so three trays cover about 30 people at AED 750.

Typical occasions

Organisers tend to brief us on one of these.

  • Runs and fun runs, with a hot drink at the finish and a thank-you for marshals and volunteers.
  • Cycling events and group rides, where riders gather after the route and want to stay and talk.
  • Community days and neighbourhood fairs, a daytime event where a cart gives the day a meeting point.
  • School fairs and sports days, with parents, staff and volunteers to look after.
  • Charity and club events, where a lean budget points towards flasks and trays rather than a bar.

Which package fits

Choose between a staffed cart and a self-serve station, or run both. Prices are the published “from” rates before 5% VAT. A self-serve station here means hot flasks or trays that guests pour themselves; see coffee cart or coffee station for the comparison.

Early starts and logistics

Early starts and outdoor settings need planning. We ask these questions and put the answers on the quote.

  • Start and set-up times: tell us when the first participants arrive and when the site opens to vehicles. The set-up window and pack-down time are agreed on the quote; we do not promise a time on this page.
  • Access: the entrance and route for the delivery vehicle, any road closures or passes, and who meets the crew.
  • Position and power: where the cart or station can stand, indoors or outdoors, and the outlets nearby. We do not publish a footprint or power figure; the quote confirms what the setup needs.
  • Arrival waves: a finish line fills in bursts, so tell us the expected headcount and when the peak is.
  • Permissions: what the organiser or venue has approved for outside suppliers, so the quote matches.

Carts and live stations need from five working days’ notice, and a 50% deposit confirms the date. Every order carries a VAT tax invoice with TRN, and purchase orders are accepted.

We reply within one working day (Monday to Friday) with an itemised quote, confirming access, power and timing in writing. Every order carries a VAT tax invoice with TRN. Not sure how an order runs? Read how a corporate order works, compare a cart with a station, or use the event planning guide.

Common questions

Can you set up before an early start?

Set-up and start times are agreed on the quote. Tell us when the first participants arrive and when the site is open to our crew, and we confirm the plan in writing.

Should I choose a cart or a self-serve station?

Choose a cart if guests want lattes and flat whites, around 100 for a half day. Choose flasks or trays for karak that guests pour themselves. At 100 guests a half-day cart is AED 3,000 against AED 2,500 for ten karak trays.

Can I order karak just for volunteers?

Yes. Flasks are from AED 40 and 10-cup trays from AED 250. Delivery in Dubai for trays and flasks is AED 250 minimum per delivery, free above AED 500 and a flat AED 40 below that.

How much notice do you need?

Carts and live stations need from five working days’ notice, and a 50% deposit confirms the date. Tell us your date as early as you can.

Do you serve events outside Dubai?

Outside Dubai? Dubai is our home, but enquiries from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the UAE are welcome. Tell us the address, date and headcount and we confirm what we can do, with travel, crew and logistics shown on your written quote.
