Ramadan 2027 office iftar and suhoor: karak, gahwa and dates in Dubai

Ramadan changes the rhythm of an office. Working days shorten, teams gather at sunset and the question becomes how to host well without adding to anyone’s load. This page sets out how an office can plan iftar, suhoor, karak, gahwa and dates for Ramadan 2027 in Dubai. Ramadan is expected to run from around 8 February to around 9 March 2027, with Eid al-Fitr expected on or around 9 to 10 March. Every date is approximate and subject to moon sighting.

All figures are starting prices before 5% VAT. Your quote is itemised to your headcount and dates.

Gahwa and dates

Gahwa poured from the dallah with dates is the welcome many Gulf hosts expect, and it suits delegation visits and company gatherings as much as a family table. It is part of the majlis station. Karak is the other half of the evening, poured hot, and the gahwa and majlis page explains the formats.

Plan around your team

Offices do not all work the same hours in Ramadan. Tell us your shift pattern and where the team will break, and we confirm the drop-off window on your quote. We do not promise delivery times before that quote is agreed, and our cafés keep the hours they publish on the locations page.

  1. December or January: send headcount, address and the days you need.
  2. We hold your dates and send an itemised quote within one working day.
  3. A 50% deposit confirms the booking, and purchase orders are accepted.
  4. Live stations and hosted evenings need from 5 working days’ notice, and short-notice requests are answered honestly.

After Ramadan

For the first morning back after Eid, a team breakfast from AED 45 per head (minimum 8) or a live karak and gahwa station from AED 900 are simple ways to welcome people back. See the breakfast meeting page. Everything we serve is halal. For dates and the other seasonal dates planners track, use the UAE corporate calendar. Outside Dubai? Dubai is our home, but enquiries from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the UAE are welcome. Tell us the address, date and headcount and we confirm what we can do, with travel, crew and logistics shown on your written quote.
