Event Coffee Station in Dubai
An event coffee station in Dubai comes in three forms. A self-serve station of flasks, trays or a majlis station starts at AED 40 a flask, AED 250 a tray or AED 45 per person (minimum 30). A hosted karak and gahwa station with its own server is from AED 900 a day. A hosted barista bar makes espresso drinks to order: from AED 3,000 for a half day (about 100 guests) and from AED 4,500 for a full day (about 200 guests). All prices ex 5% VAT.

Event coffee stations, answered
- How much is an event coffee station in Dubai?
- Self-serve flasks from AED 40 and trays from AED 250. A karak and gahwa station with a server from AED 900 a day. A hosted barista bar from AED 3,000 (half day) or AED 4,500 (full day). All ex 5% VAT.
- How many guests does each option serve?
- A 1L flask pours about 6 cups and a 10-cup tray covers ten guests at one cup each. A half-day bar is built for about 100 guests and a full-day bar for about 200.
- Self-serve station or barista bar?
- Choose a self-serve station when karak or gahwa poured by guests is enough, or you want no staff in the room. Choose a barista bar when guests will ask for lattes, flat whites and milk alternatives. Cart or station: the decision guide.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Carts and live stations need from 5 working days' notice for private and corporate events, with a 50% deposit. Trays and flasks can often be delivered the same day to nearby Dubai offices when ordered in the morning.
Three kinds of event coffee station
Self-serve station
Hot flasks, trays or a majlis station that guests pour for themselves, so you need no barista. A 1L karak or saffron chai flask (about 6 cups) is from AED 40, a 10-cup karak tray from AED 250 and a majlis station from AED 45 per person for 30 or more people, in a two-hour window.
Hosted karak and gahwa station
A live station with its own server, pouring karak and gahwa in front of your guests. From AED 900 a day, added to any cart package or booked on its own. Street food is not part of this price; it comes with the AED 5,900 Coffee + Karak Experience. The size of the station is set on your quote.
Hosted barista bar
A branded ROAST cart with trained baristas making espresso, matcha and karak to order. A half day (1 barista, up to 4 hours, about 100 guests) is from AED 3,000; a full day (2 baristas, up to 8 hours, about 200 guests) from AED 4,500. Delivery, setup and teardown in Dubai are included.

Event coffee station options compared
Capacities are the ones ROAST publishes. Where none is published, the table says so.
| Option | Who serves | Published capacity | From (ex 5% VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1L karak or saffron chai flask | Guests pour | About 6 cups | AED 40 |
| Karak tray | Guests pour | 10 cups | AED 250 |
| Majlis station | Self-serve: gahwa, dates and a karak urn | Minimum 30 people, two-hour window | AED 45 per person |
| Live karak and gahwa station | A server | Sized on your quote | AED 900 a day |
| Half-day barista bar | 1 barista, up to 4 hours | About 100 guests | AED 3,000 |
| Full-day barista bar | 2 baristas, up to 8 hours | About 200 guests | AED 4,500 |
| Coffee + Karak Experience (full day) | Baristas plus a karak and gahwa server | About 200 guests | AED 5,900 |
Both menus in one booking: the Signature Bar at AED 4,500 plus the karak and gahwa station at AED 900 is AED 5,400. The Coffee + Karak Experience at AED 5,900 adds Cha Cha Chai street food (vada pav, samosa pav and momos; quantities confirmed on your quote).
What each costs for 30, 60 and 100 guests
Trays are one 10-cup tray per ten guests, so one karak cup each; they do not make espresso. All figures are before 5% VAT, from the published prices.
| Guests | Karak trays | Majlis station | Half-day barista bar |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 | 3 × 250 = AED 750 | 45 × 30 = AED 1,350 | AED 3,000 |
| 60 | 6 × 250 = AED 1,500 | 45 × 60 = AED 2,700 | AED 3,000 |
| 100 | 10 × 250 = AED 2,500 | 45 × 100 = AED 4,500 | AED 3,000 |
At 100 guests the half-day bar (AED 3,000, about AED 30 a guest) is only AED 500 more than ten trays, and it brings a full espresso menu. At 30 guests the bar costs four times the trays, so a station is the sounder buy. Estimate your own event.
Pick by guest count and drink
- ✦Up to about 60 guests who drink karak: trays or flasks, delivered hot, from AED 250 a tray.
- ✦30 or more guests who want gahwa and dates: a self-serve majlis station from AED 45 a person.
- ✦About 100 guests who want espresso, lattes and milk choices: a half-day barista bar from AED 3,000.
- ✦About 200 guests who want both menus: the Signature Bar plus a karak and gahwa station, AED 4,500 + 900 = AED 5,400, or the Coffee + Karak Experience at AED 5,900.

Venue checklist for a coffee station
Flasks and trays arrive hot and ready to pour. For a bar or a staffed station, ROAST does not publish a footprint or power figure on this site, so these are confirmed on your written quote, and we send a short technical pack with every quote. Tell us:
- ✦Where the station will stand, and whether the venue is indoors or outdoors.
- ✦How the crew reaches the spot, where to unload and park, and any venue passes or contractor rules.
- ✦Where the nearest power point is.
- ✦The date, the service hours, and when we can set up and must be out.
- ✦The expected headcount, so we size the order.
The printable coffee cart venue requirements checklist covers power, water, space, access and approvals.

Event coffee stations, answered
What is an event coffee station?
A set-up that serves hot drinks at an event. It can be self-serve (flasks, trays or a majlis station that guests pour from), a hosted karak and gahwa station with its own server, or a hosted barista bar that makes espresso drinks to order.
How much does an event coffee station cost in Dubai?
A 1L flask (about 6 cups) is from AED 40, a 10-cup karak tray from AED 250 and a self-serve majlis station from AED 45 per person (minimum 30). A karak and gahwa station with a server is from AED 900 a day. A hosted barista bar is from AED 3,000 for a half day (about 100 guests) and AED 4,500 for a full day (about 200 guests). All prices exclude 5% VAT.
How many guests does a coffee station serve?
A 1L flask pours about 6 cups and a 10-cup tray covers ten guests at one cup each. A majlis station needs at least 30 people, in a two-hour window. A half-day bar is built for about 100 guests and a full-day bar for about 200. The size of a live karak and gahwa station is set on your quote.
Do I need a barista, or can guests serve themselves?
Guests can serve themselves from flasks, trays or a majlis station, which keeps the budget lean. Espresso drinks, lattes and milk alternatives need a barista bar. At 30 guests the trays cost a quarter of the bar; at 100 guests the half-day bar is only AED 500 more than ten trays.
What space and power does an event coffee station need?
ROAST does not publish a footprint or power figure. Flasks and trays arrive hot and ready to pour. For a bar or a staffed station, tell us the venue and the written quote confirms what the setup needs; we send a short technical pack with every quote.
How far ahead should I book an event coffee station?
Coffee carts and live stations need from 5 working days' notice for private and corporate events, and a 50% deposit confirms the date. Trays and flasks can often be delivered the same day to nearby Dubai offices when ordered in the morning. Major exhibitions need 2 to 3 months.
