Coffee cart for mall activations, retail pop-ups and store openings in Dubai

A store opening or a pop-up is judged on footfall, and a live barista gives shoppers a reason to stop and stay. This page is for brand, retail and marketing teams in Dubai planning a mall activation, a pop-up or an opening day. It shows which published cart package fits, what the add-ons cost, what the venue needs to confirm and a worked total, so you can budget before asking for a quote.

Typical occasions

Retail and brand teams tend to book a cart for one of four moments.

  • Store openings, where a branded cart marks the entrance and gives the first shoppers something to hold.
  • Mall activations over a weekend or a campaign, when footfall arrives in waves and the queue must keep moving.
  • Retail pop-ups and showroom days, where the drink is part of the hospitality.
  • VIP previews and launch evenings before the doors open to the public.

What the mall or venue needs to confirm

We do not publish a power, water or footprint figure on our cart pages, so these are confirmed on your quote. Tell us the venue, date, hours and headcount and we confirm each point in writing.

  • Approval and fees: mall or venue management approval is confirmed with the mall or venue, and venue fees, if any, are itemised separately on your quote.
  • Access and timing: the crew arrives within the build-up or early-access window your venue allows, and setup and teardown timings are confirmed in writing.
  • Power, water and space: confirmed on your quote, indoors or outdoors.
  • Booking: from 5 working days’ notice, a 50% deposit (عربون) confirms the date, and purchase orders are accepted.

Worked example: a store opening day

A retailer opens a store with a branded half-day cart, and the programme runs one hour beyond the four-hour window. Using published rates only:

Espresso Bar, half day1 x 3,0003,000
Custom branding on cups and sleeves1 x 750750
Extra hour of service1 x 400400
Subtotal, before VAT4,150

Total with VAT4,357.50

This illustrates arithmetic from published rates, not a quote. Hours, menu and the venue’s own fees are confirmed on your itemised quote. A two-day activation on the Signature Bar is 2 x 4,500 = AED 9,000 before add-ons and VAT.

Estimate your own total

The coffee cart estimator builds a total from the published rates and is a guide, not a quote. The full list of what moves the price is on what a coffee cart costs.

What we ask before quoting

  • Venue and location: the mall or street address and where in the venue the cart would stand.
  • Dates and hours: opening day, campaign dates and the hours the bar should run.
  • Branding: whether you want your brand on cups, sleeves and signage.
  • Billing: the billing entity name and any purchase order number.

We reply within one working day (Monday to Friday) with an itemised quote, confirming access and timing in writing. Every order carries a VAT tax invoice with TRN, and delivery is within Dubai.
