Coffee for film, TV and commercial production sets in Dubai

A shoot day runs long and a hot drink is one of the few breaks the whole crew shares. This page is for producers and production managers in Dubai planning crew coffee for a film, TV or commercial shoot. It shows which published package fits a long day, what extra hours and a karak station cost, what the location confirms, and a worked total.

Where a cart helps on a shoot

Production teams tend to book a barista cart for three situations.

  • Studio days in Studio City or another stage, where the crew breaks in waves and the queue must keep moving.
  • Location shoots across Dubai, where a hot drink is hard to find near the set.
  • Wrap and premiere evenings, where a karak and gahwa station gives the room something local to gather around.

Long days and early calls

A package covers 8 hours, and each extra hour is a published AED 400, so a long day is easy to add up in advance. When the call time is before a normal service window, ask us about early windows. They are quoted by request, and the start time is confirmed in writing on your quote rather than assumed.

What the location needs to confirm

We do not publish a power, water or footprint figure on our cart pages, so power, water and space are confirmed on your quote. Send the address, date, hours and crew size and we confirm each point in writing.

  • Indoors or outdoors: a cart sets up in either, so a stage, a lobby or an outdoor location can all work.
  • Access and timing: the crew arrives within the build-up or early-access window your location allows, and setup and teardown timings are confirmed in writing for your run-sheet.
  • Approvals and fees: venue or organiser fees, if any, are itemised separately on your quote.
  • Booking: from 5 working days’ notice, a 50% deposit (عربون) confirms the date, and purchase orders are accepted.

Worked example: a 12-hour shoot day

A production books a full-day Signature Bar and a karak station for a shoot that runs four hours past the 8-hour window. Using published rates only:

LineCalculationAED
Signature Bar, full day1 x 4,5004,500
Extra hours4 x 4001,600
Standalone karak and gahwa station1 x 900900
Subtotal, before VAT7,000

Total with VAT7,350

This illustrates arithmetic from published rates, not a quote. A three-day shoot on the Signature Bar is 3 x 4,500 = AED 13,500 before add-ons and VAT, because each day is priced at the package day rate.

Estimate your own total

The coffee cart estimator builds a total from the published rates and is a guide, not a quote. The venue questions are on the venue requirements checklist.

We reply within one working day (Monday to Friday) with an itemised quote. Every order carries a VAT tax invoice with TRN, and delivery is within Dubai.

Common questions

How much is a coffee cart for a film or TV shoot?

A full-day cart with two baristas is from AED 4,500 for up to 8 hours and about 200 guests, and a half day is from AED 3,000, both before 5% VAT. Delivery, setup and teardown in Dubai are included.

What if the shoot runs longer than 8 hours?

Each extra hour is AED 400 and an extra barista is AED 600, both published. A 12-hour day on the Signature Bar is AED 4,500 plus 4 x AED 400, before VAT.

Can the cart be there for an early call time?

Ask us about early windows. They are quoted by request, and the timing is confirmed in writing on your quote.

Can we add karak for the crew?

Yes. A standalone karak and gahwa station is AED 900 a day, added to any package, with its own server. The Coffee + Karak Experience is from AED 5,900 for a full day.

What does the location need to confirm?

Power, water and space are confirmed on your quote because we do not publish figures for them. Access and setup timings are confirmed in writing, and any venue fees are itemised separately.

How much notice do you need, and how do we pay?

From 5 working days’ notice. A 50% deposit confirms the date, purchase orders are accepted, and every order has a VAT tax invoice with TRN.
